The spacious dahabiya “El Nour” offers families and larger private groups an elegant and highly personalized journey from Aswan to Luxor. Throughout the cruise, the entire vessel and its crew are exclusively at your group’s disposal. The journey lasts four days and three nights* Charter rates start at €6,000 per night, with a total charter price of €18,000 for three nights. With twelve spacious cabins and one suite, the “El Nour” is ideally suited to larger groups. A private charter allows you to travel at a relaxed pace and visit secluded mooring spots that are inaccessible to larger cruise ships.

Your itinerary

Day 1Aswan and Kom Ombo

You will be picked up in Aswan and visit the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae. Afterwards, you will board the private dahabiya “El Nour”, enjoy lunch on board, and begin your sailing journey. In the evening, you will visit the atmospheric, beautifully illuminated Temple of Kom Ombo.

Day 2Gebel el-Silsila and Edfu

After breakfast on board, you will visit the ancient sandstone quarries of Gebel el-Silsila. You will then continue sailing towards Edfu, where a horse-drawn carriage will take you to the impressive Temple of Horus.

Day 3Luxor and the East Bank

After a relaxed breakfast, you will continue sailing north towards Luxor. Upon arrival, you will explore the monumental Karnak Temple complex and the Luxor Temple in the heart of the city, accompanied by your private guide.

Day 4Luxor’s West Bank and Departure

After breakfast, you will explore Luxor’s West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. To conclude your journey, you will enjoy a traditional lunch with Ahmed and his family. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport or to your accommodation.
